In our opinion, tax advisory services are inextricably linked to legal advisory services. Legal assistance provided without giving consideration to its tax implications remains incomplete, and can at times be even detrimental. Quite often it is the tax aspects that indicate the direction in which the entrepreneur should go in a given project, and adequate legal instruments are being chosen only afterwards. Concluding all kinds of trade agreements, loan agreements, employment contracts, performing mergers, transformations or liquidations of commercial companies or operations on capital of those companies are events of vital importance from the tax perspective. This is why we take special care that any advice we provide took into consideration all the tax effects of the recommended action. We closely cooperate with tax advisors specialising in all important areas of tax law: personal income tax, corporate income tax, with particular emphasis on transfer prices and international aspects (double taxation agreements, withholding at source), inheritance and donations tax, civil law transactions tax, real property tax as well as value-added tax (VAT) and other indirect taxes (excise duty). We help choose the best legal form for a given business activity or a given project from the tax perspective (strategic consulting) and provide tax advice in ongoing operating activity (ongoing consulting). We comment on intended activities from the legal-tax perspective, we represent Clients during tax investigations, we draw up motions for tax interpretations, we represent Clients before administrative courts in tax issues.
